קול קורא IDFA Forum 2015

IDFA Forum is looking for
challenging documentary projects

The international co-financing and co-production market IDFA Forum is Europe's most important breeding ground for new documentary projects. The Forum will once again select around 50 Projects for its 2015 edition, which will take place during IDFA from November 23-25. Projects can be submitted by independent producers looking for co-financing, co-production and distribution.

Whatever stage of development or financing your creative documentary project is in, IDFA Forum is the place to go if you are looking for funders (be it broadcasters or funds), co-producers, distributors and/or sales agents.

Special categories

By offering different pitch setups and giving extra focus to specific genres, the Forum gives room to the rich variety of the documentary genre. IDFA Forum has four special categories this year:

Docs4Cinema Projects: A category for projects aiming towards a theatrical release, which are suitable for the international market. Open to producers looking for co-producers to secure realization of projects in pre-production or in the beginning stages of production.

Crossmedia Projects: In collaboration with DocLab, IDFA’s festival program showcasing the best interactive non-fiction storytelling projects, the Forum welcomes crossmedia projects with an emphasis on interactivity seeking funding, co-production or professional input.

Rough Cut Projects: This newly designed category, an expansion of last year's Work In Progress Screenings, gives producers the opportunity to present a rough cut to TV buyers, distributors, sales agents and festival programmers.

Youth documentaries: After two sidebar presentations showcasing documentaries geared at young audiences in 2014, IDFA Forum will this year give room to projects for an audience between 9-12 years old, looking to stimulate international collaborations in this burgeoning genre.

Submission deadline: September 1
IDFA Forum 2015: November 23–25
