The New Fund for Cinema and Television (NFCT) is a pioneering independent film fund in Israel, working at the intersection of cinema, culture, and social change. Since 1994, we have helped bring more than 1,000 films to life, including documentaries, narrative features, and TV dramas that reflect the rich mosaic of Israeli society and are shown both in Israel and overseas.<\/p>\n

NFCT is committed to supporting outstanding Israeli cinema that combines artistic excellence, fresh perspectives, and social relevance. We invest in both emerging and established filmmakers across the country, ensuring that Israeli storytelling remains innovative, daring, and diverse.<\/p>\n
Each year, we fund dozens of new projects through a rigorous, values-driven selection process. We prioritize artistic merit, originality, and the ability to engage audiences in a meaningful way. Alongside our main funding tracks, we spearhead initiatives that advance equal opportunities in the film industry, such as labs and special programs supporting women filmmakers, Arab creatives, ultra-Orthodox women, and other communities historically underrepresented on screen.<\/p>\n\n
